Diethanolamine is a colorless to light yellow viscous liquid with a slight ammonia odor, boiling point 268-270°C, density 1.097g/cm³ (20°C), soluble in water and ethanol, and slightly soluble in ether. The product has a purity ≥99%, water content ≤0.5%, weak alkalinity (pH 10-11 for 1% aqueous solution), and excellent emulsifying and surface-active properties.

Diethanolamine Uses
- Diethanolamine is used as a buffer material in the pharmaceutical industry, as a crosslinking agent in the production of high resilience polyurethane foam, mixed with triethanolamine as a detergent for aircraft engine pistons, reacts with fatty acids to form alkyl alkyl alkyl.
