1,8-diazafluoren-9-one is a yellow powder with a melting point of 229-233℃ and a boiling point of 396.3℃. It is soluble in acetic acid and can form highly fluorescent derivatives with amino acids. It is often used in forensic identification to detect latent fingerprints on paper and other materials.
Thioflavin T
Thioflavin T is a yellow to ochre-yellow powder that is soluble in methanol, 25 mM in water, and 100 mM in DMSO.
