What is N-coco propane diamine?

N-coco propane diamine is a compound that contains a coconut oil group and two propane groups in its chemical structure. It is generally a colorless to pale yellow liquid. It is soluble in organic solvents such as alcohol and ether, but insoluble in water. It can also be used as a solubilizer and foaming agent for coatings and paints.

N-coco propane diamine is a fatty amine derivative derived from natural coconut oil with a diamine structure. Its main uses include:

• Surfactant raw material: used to synthesize cationic or amphoteric surfactants, widely used in detergents, softeners and cleaning products.
• Wetting agent and emulsifier: used as emulsifier stabilizer and wetting agent in industrial formulations to improve the dispersibility and performance of products.
• Antistatic agent: used as antistatic additive in textile and plastic processing to reduce static electricity accumulation of materials.
• Corrosion inhibitor: used as corrosion inhibitor in petroleum, metal processing and other industries to prevent corrosion of equipment surface.
