Formamide Solubility
Insoluble in ethers and chlorinated solvents, slightly soluble in benzene, miscible with water, methanol, ethanol, acetic acid, acetone, dioxane, ethylene glycol, phenol, and lower esters. It can dissolve casein, but not albumin.
