Unsaturated Polyester Resins:Polyester resins derived from DEG are flexible in nature. They are used as low pressure laminates for glass fibres, asbestos, cloth and paper.
Other Uses:

• Diethylene glycol can be directly used as a solvent, natural g as dehydration and drying agent, aromatic hydrocarbon separation and extraction agent, textile lubricant, softener, finishing agent, as well as solvents such as resin, oil and printing ink.
• It can also be used as an antifreeze component in brake fluid, compressor lubricating oil, and can be used to prepare cleaning agents.
• It can also be used as a dispersing solvent in other daily chemicals such as ink.
