Benzotriazolyl Dodecyl p-Cresol appears as a light yellow to amber transparent viscous liquid. The compound is highly soluble in organic solvents such as acetone, chloroform, and ethyl acetate, slightly soluble in methanol, and nearly insoluble in water. It decomposes readily at high temperatures, with an initial decomposition temperature of approximately 214°C (1% weight loss).
