4-((Trimethylsilyl)ethynyl)aniline is commonly a light yellow crystalline solid at room temperature. Its melting point is 94–98°C, boiling point is 258.9°C at normal pressure, flash point is 110.4°C (>230°F), and density is 0.973 g/cm³. The molecular structure contains polar amino groups and non-polar trimethylsilyl ethynyl groups, making it highly soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and ether and slightly soluble in water.
