3-(N-Styrylmethyl-2-aminoethylamino)-propyltrimethoxysilane Hydrochloride, also known as VTEOS (Vinyltriethoxysilane hydrochloride), is an organosilicon compound. VTEOS is a colorless to light yellow liquid with a strong pungent odor. It can be dissolved in some organic solvents, such as alcohols and ketones. It is an active monomer that is easily hydrolyzed and can react to form organosilicon polymers. The compound is widely used in the fields of chemical industry, electronics, construction, rubber, etc. It is often used as a crosslinking agent for silicone rubber, which can improve the strength, wear resistance and chemical corrosion resistance of silicone rubber.
