- BTAC:
Highly soluble in water and alcohol, making it ideal for clear, liquid formulations like shampoos or rinse-off products. It can feel slightly "crisp" on hair, providing strong detangling and antistatic effects.
- BTMS:
Less water-soluble but dissolves well in warm oil or wax phases. It forms creamy, smooth emulsions, often used in oily or thick formulations like conditioners, hair masks, or body butters. Its texture adds softness and a luxurious feel.
