Uses of Lithium Chloride
Lithium chloride is a versatile inorganic compound widely used in various industrial and chemical processes. As a raw material for making lithium metal, it plays a crucial role in modern battery production and metallurgical processes.
Anhydrous lithium chloride (LiCl) is mainly used as a flux and brazing agent for the electrolytic preparation of lithium metal and aluminum metal.
