- Lithium fluoride (CAS:7789-24-4) is used as desiccant and flux, also used in the manufacture of optical glass.
- Lithium Fluoride (LIF) is used as additives for aluminum electrolysis and rare earth electrolysis, optical glass manufacturing, desiccant, flux, etc.

- Battery grade lithium fluoride is one of the key raw materials for the production of lithium hexafluorophosphate, a common electrolyte for lithium-ion batteries.
