Aniline, also known as aminobenzene, is an organic compound with the chemical formula C₆H₇N. It is a colorless oily liquid that decomposes upon heating to 370 °C. Aniline is slightly soluble in water but readily soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and ether. It serves as a raw material for the production of synthetic dyes, pigments, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and rubber additives.

Aniline Powder Uses
- Aniline is one of the most important intermediates in the dye industry. It is also a primary raw material for pharmaceuticals, rubber accelerators, and antioxidants, and can be used to produce fragrances, varnishes, and explosives;
- Aniline is also used in the manufacture of dyes, medicines, resins, varnishes, perfumes, vulcanized rubber, and even solvents;
- Moreover, aniline is an important raw material for pesticide production. From aniline, derivatives such as N-alkylaniline, alkylaniline, o-nitroaniline, o-phenylenediamine, phenylhydrazine, and cyclohexylamine can be synthesized. These derivatives serve as intermediates for fungicides such as sodium pentachlorophenate, carboxin, mefenoxam, thiophanate, carbendazim, thiophanate-methyl, and benomyl; insecticides such as triazophos, phosalone, and quinalphos; as well as herbicides such as metolachlor, acetochlor, butachlor, prometryn, and imazapyr.
