What is 2-(3,4-Dimethylphenyl)-5-methyl-1H-pyrazol-3(2H)-one?

2-(3,4-Dimethylphenyl)-5-methyl-1H-pyrazol-3(2H)-one is an organic compound, usually a light yellow to off-white solid. The compound has a molecular formula of C12H14N2O, has a pyrazolone ring structure, has both aromaticity and keto group reactivity, and has certain polarity and nucleophilicity. It has good solubility in organic solvents such as ethanol, ethyl acetate and chloroform, but low solubility in water.
