Mepiquat Chloride is a common and effective plant growth regulator with the following main uses:

• Controlling crop leggy growth: It can inhibit cotton cell elongation, make plants compact, shorten internodes, reduce nutrient waste caused by excessive vegetative growth, thereby avoiding cotton field closure, improving ventilation and light transmission, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, and facilitating cotton reproductive growth.
• Shaping ideal plant type: When used on vegetable crops such as peppers and tomatoes, it can adjust plant morphology, make plants dwarfed, stems thick, leaves thickened, enhance crop resistance to lodging, and also facilitate field management and fruit picking.
• Promoting reproductive growth: Mepiquat Chloride can regulate crop nutrient distribution, inhibit vegetative growth, and promote reproductive growth.
• Improving crop stress resistance: Crops treated with this substance have developed root systems, can better absorb water and nutrients in the soil, and enhance the adaptability of crops to adverse conditions such as drought and salinity. At the same time, the stems and leaf tissues of the plants are tougher and their resistance to diseases and pests is also improved.
