What is Triethylene glycol TEG?
Triethylene glycol(teg) is a colorless odorless hygroscopic viscous liquid, With water, alcohol,propyl alcohol, benzene and other miscible. In addition, triethylene glycol passabledissolved ortho dichlorobenzene, phenol, nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate and dextrin, butinsoluble in petroleum ether resin and grease.TEG can be used as solvent for aromatics extraction, solvent for rubber andnitric acid fiber, as well as diesel additive and rocket fuel.
