• Chemical Fiber Industry: DMAC functions as a solvent for extracting butadiene from ethylene cracking gas C4. It is also extensively used in nylon 66 production units to extract pure benzene, cyclohexene, and other compounds from cyclohexanol. In acrylic fiber production facilities, the organic wet process technology employing DMAC as a solvent offers distinct advantages.
• Other Applications: DMAC also serves as an extraction distillation solvent for separating styrene from C8 fractions, a reaction catalyst, an electrolytic solvent, a paint remover, and forms various crystalline solvent adducts and complexes.
