Mepiquat chloride is a systemic plant growth regulator with a molecular formula of C₇H₁₆ClN and a molecular weight of 149.66. It is a white or slightly yellow crystalline powder at room temperature. It is widely used in cotton, fruits, vegetables and grain crops. It is a safe and effective growth regulation tool in agricultural production.

The melting point of Mepiquat chloride is 285℃ (decomposition), the vapor pressure is extremely low, it is easily soluble in water (solubility>100%), slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in non-polar solvents such as ether and chloroform, the aqueous solution is neutral, and it is easily decomposed under strong acid and strong alkali conditions.

Enhance stress resistance:
Thicken leaf wax layer, improve drought and cold resistance, and delay leaf senescence (e.g. wheat filling period extended by 5~7 days).
Improve quality:
Increase cotton fiber length, grape sugar content, apple calcium content, and enhance the commodity value of agricultural products.
Applicable crops and effects
Cotton: Use from bud stage to early flowering stage, increase yield by 10%~20%, and reduce boll drop by 20%~30%.
