- Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether is used as a raw material of the paint, printing ink solvent and dye dispersants.
- Used for determination of iron and molybdenum reagents and solvents, also used in separation of calcium and strontium nitrate.
- BG can also be used for fiber wetting agent, pesticides dispersant, resin plasticizers and synthetic organic intermediates, etc.
- Used as an inactive diluent, metal detergent, paint remover, fiber wetting agent and drug extractant.
- Used as a stabilizer of emulsioni paint, evaporating inhibitor of aircraft coating, high temperature baking enamel surface processing, etc.
