Ethylene Glycol (MEG) is The main raw materials for polyester fibers and Coolant agents.
- It is mainly used in the production of polyester, polyester resin, desiccant, plasticizer, surfactant, synthetic fiber and cosmetics;
- It is also used as a solvent for dyes, inks, etc., to formulate antifreeze agents for engines, gas dehydrating agents, to manufacture resins,
- It can also be used as a wetting agent for cellophane, fibers, leather, and adhesives.Synthetic resin PET can be produced. Fiber-grade PET is polyester fiber, and bottle-flake grade PET is used to make mineral water bottles, etc.
