Preparation method
Regarding the synthesis method, first, the naphthalene solution is heated at 50℃ in a reactor for 4 hours. Then, it is cooled, and steam is introduced to hydrolyze the by - product to obtain 1 - naphthalenesulfonic acid. Upon completion of hydrolysis, add 37% formaldehyde at 196kPa, and finally add alkali to neutralize to pH 8 - 10. After cooling, crystallization and filtration, polynaphthalene formaldehyde sulfonic acid sodium salt can be obtained.
Uses
Application in the paper industry: Dispersant MF is used as a diluent to control pulp rot, reduce two-sidedness, increase the retention rate of fillers or fine fibers, enhance the sizing effect, and lower coating viscosity.
Application in coatings and pigments: Dispersant MF is a highly efficient dispersant for water-based coatings and pigment pastes. It helps evenly disperse pigments, improving the stability and overall quality of coatings and pastes.
Application in other fields: Dispersant MF can serve as an adhesive to enhance the water resistance of polymer filler powders and sealing layers.
