In terms of chemical properties, because it has three epoxy groups, it shows high reactivity. It can undergo ring-opening addition reactions with various compounds containing active hydrogen, such as amines, alcohols, and carboxylic acids. It can be applied in crosslinking, curing, and other reactions.

In the industrial field: Curing agent 1,3,5-Triglycidyl Isocyanurate is applied in fiber and glass fiber composite materials, laminates, electrical insulation materials, heat-resistant structural adhesives, etc. In processes like pultrusion, winding of carbon fibers, vacuum casting of glass fiber composites (RTM, VARTM), and automatic pressure gelation (APG), it can be used to prepare heat-resistant epoxy resin casting materials. It is also used for the casting and sealing of micromotor components.
