LiOtBu is also effective in synthesizing heterocyclic compounds like 3H-oxazol-2-ones and (Z)-oxazolidin-2-ones from substituted propargyl alcohols and isocyanates.
Additionally, it is used in conductive gel electrolytes and flame spray pyrolysis for lithium vanadate nanoparticles.
