Mixed aromatics are divided into two categories: high benzene and low benzene aromatics. They generally account for up to 30% of gasoline blending raw materials. The benzene content determines its specific classification. A benzene content greater than or equal to 1% is called high benzene, and less than 1% is called low benzene. Normal national standard gasoline requires that the benzene content must not be greater than 1%. Therefore, the domestic blending market requires that the lower the benzene content, the more popular it is for raw material indicators.
Performance: colorless and transparent liquid, odor: special odor, an aromatic mixture obtained by extracting narrow-fraction reforming aromatics. It contains benzene, toluene, and xylene. It can be used as a raw material for petroleum resins, gasoline, and solvents.


Uses: Separate the benzene, toluene, and xylene by separation. Mainly used in rubber industry, adhesives, shoemaking, etc. It is also the main raw material for the production of paraxylene (PX).

1. Oxygen content: The oxygen content of gasoline shall not exceed 2.7%, because the oxygen content of mixed aromatics is generally required to be no more than 2.5%. Oxygen content higher than normal will affect engine performance, resulting in increased fuel consumption.

2. Sulfur content: The standard requirement is less than 10mg/kg, and the smaller the proportion, the better.

3. Naphthalene content: less than 0.3%, and the naphthalene content of externally procured finished gasoline is about 6%.

4. Olefin content: The national standard gasoline externally procured requires the olefin content to be guaranteed to be 7%, not more than or less than.

5. Benzene content: The low benzene content is required to be less than 1%, because the lower the benzene content of mixed aromatics, the more conducive it is for oil blenders to add other low-priced high-octane high-benzene content raw materials, because mixed aromatics account for a large proportion of the blending components in gasoline, because the lower the benzene content, the greater the cost of oil blending.
