[Application]
1. Organic synthesis intermediate: trans,trans,cis-1,5,9-Cyclododecatriene is widely used as an important intermediate in organic synthesis.
2. Engineering plastics: used to produce engineering plastic polyamide (nylon-12).
3. Flame retardant: used to produce flame retardant hexabromocyclododecane (HBCD), HBCD is an excellent high-bromine alicyclic additive flame retardant.
4. Flame and seasoning: used to produce flavoring and fragrance, etc.
5. Synthetic rubber industry: The largest application outside the synthetic rubber industry is the production of flame retardant HBCD.
6. Other applications: It is also used to prepare saturated and unsaturated dibasic acids and derivatives, used as raw materials for polyesters, polyamides and plasticizers.
