What is polyacrylamide?
Polyacrylamide(PAM) is a linear water-soluble polymer, and is one of the most widely used varieties of water-soluble polymer compounds.PAM and its derivatives can be used as efficient flocculants, thickeners, paper enhancers and liquid drag reducing agents, and Polyacrylamide are widely used in water treatment, paper making, petroleum, coal, mining, metallurgy, geology, textile,construction and other industrial sectors.

Application
- When used for sludge treatment, the corresponding PAM model specifications can be applied based on the silt's characteristics. The sludge can be reasonably placed in the filter press prior to treatment and drying, producing large floc, non-stick filter press cloth, a long-lasting filter press machine, a thick mud cake, a drying rate number, and a water content of 80% or less.
- For the treatment of household wastewater, chemical wastewater, and organic chemical sewage solution, such as in the fields of printing and dyeing, papermaking, ethanol production, electroplating, pharmaceutical manufacturing, wineries, iron manufacturing, tobacco manufacturing, pharmaceutical companies, and food processing facilities.
- One of its uses in the paper industry is to increase the rate at which color paste, filler, and other materials are retained. The second is to increase the printed paper's compressive strength (dry and wet), as well as its tear resistance and porous structure, which can alter the paper's appearance and packaging printing performance. Polyacrylamide PAM is also used in food and tea bags. The goal is to decrease the outflow of raw materials and environmental pollution to the natural environment.
