Cyclohexanone CYC Uses
- Nylon Production: About 70% of Cyclohexanone CYC is used in the production of caprolactam (nylon 6 monomer) and adipic acid (nylon 66 raw material), which are the core materials for synthetic fibers and engineering plastics.
- Solvent application: As a highly efficient solvent, it is widely used in paints, coatings, resins, adhesives and pesticide preparations, and can dissolve nitrocellulose, grease and other substances.
- Industrial cleaning: Used as degreasing agent or cleaning agent in metal processing and leather treatment, due to its volatility and strong decontamination ability.
