Storage precautions

Temperature requirements: Generally, it should be stored in a cool and ventilated environment to avoid high temperatures. The appropriate storage temperature is usually between 5℃ - 35℃. Too high a temperature may cause the resin to soften, agglomerate or even degrade, affecting its performance; too low a temperature may make the resin brittle, which also has an adverse effect on its quality.
Humidity requirements: Keep the storage environment dry, and the relative humidity should be controlled at 40% - 60%. ABS Resins have a certain degree of hygroscopicity. Excessive humidity will cause the resin to absorb too much moisture, which may cause reactions such as hydrolysis, reduce the performance of the resin, and may also cause problems such as surface mold.
Packaging requirements: Products should usually be sealed to prevent the entry of air, moisture and impurities. If it is bagged, make sure the bag is intact. If it is damaged, the packaging should be replaced in time to prevent the resin from contacting the external environment and deteriorating.
Storage area requirements: The storage area should be away from fire sources, heat sources and oxidants to avoid fire or other dangerous reactions. At the same time, it should be stored separately from other chemicals to prevent mutual contamination and chemical reactions. In addition, the storage area should be kept clean and cleaned regularly to prevent dust and impurities from mixing into the resin.
