Uses
Diethylene Glycol Dimethyl Ether is a high boiling point polar solvent, widely used in Grignard reaction, metal organic reaction, anionic polymerization and coordination polymerization reaction, which can effectively dissolve Grignard reagent and stabilize active intermediates. In the hydroboration reaction, it is used as a solvent for borane to promote hydrogen transfer reaction.
