Uses

 

• Polymer material synthesis: Divinylbenzene is used as a cross-linking agent to prepare ion exchange resins, adsorption resins and polymer microspheres to improve the network structure strength and selective adsorption performance of the materials.
• Functional polymer field: It is used to synthesize polymer porous materials and play a role as a matrix material in the fields of chromatographic stationary phases and catalyst carriers.
• Coatings and adhesives: Adding DVB to coatings or adhesives improves the cross-linking density and enhances the chemical resistance, hardness and bonding strength of the coating.
• Fine chemical intermediates: As an intermediate, DVB participates in the synthesis of fine chemicals such as photosensitive resins and functional polymer monomers, expanding the preparation path of special-purpose materials.
