What is Styrene Solvent (C8H8)?
Styrene is an organic compound formed by replacing a hydrogen atom of ethylene with benzene, and the molecular formula is C8H8. The electrons of vinyl are conjugated with benzene ring, insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol and ether, and gradually polymerization and oxidation occur when exposed to air. Industrial is an important monomer of synthetic resin, ion exchange resin and synthetic rubber.
Styrene Solvent (C8H8) Uses
- Mainly used as raw materials of polystyrene, synthetic rubber, engineering plastics, ion exchange resin, etc.
- Use as a monomer of synthetic rubber and plastic, used to produce styrene-butadiene rubber, polystyrene, foam polystyrene;
- Styrene Solvent is also used for copolymerization with other monomers to manufacture engineering plastics for a variety of different uses.
- Used for organic synthesis and resin synthesis purposes for preparation of copper plating brightener, leveling and brightening effect;
