Properties:
4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-5-methyl-1,3-Isobenzofurandione is soluble in organic solvents such as ethers and alcohols at room temperature and insoluble in water.
4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-5-methyl-1,3-Isobenzofurandione is relatively stable and does not decompose easily under conventional conditions.
It can be gradually hydrolyzed to the corresponding acid by reactions such as heating and acid catalysis.
Stability: Stable at room temperature, but contact with strong oxidizing agents should be avoided. Prolonged exposure to heat or sunlight should be avoided during storage.
