The melting point of 2,4-Dimethylbenzaldehyde is -9℃, boiling point 102.4–103℃ (14 mmHg), density 0.962 g/mL (25℃), refractive index 1.548–1.550, flash point 88℃. Insoluble in water, easily soluble in organic solvents and greases, sensitive to air, and needs to be sealed and stored in a cool and dry place.
