Decyl glucoside (CAS 68515-73-1), also known as D-Glucopyranose, oligomeric, decyl octyl glycosides, Decyl D-glucopyranoside, is a nonionic surfactant synthesized from natural renewable raw materials glucose and decanol through glycosidation reaction. Its molecular formula is C₁₆H₃₂O₆, and its molecular weight is about 320.22 g/mol.

Surfactant Decyl glucoside is a light yellow transparent liquid at room temperature, soluble in water, methoxyethanol and pyridine, and insoluble in non-polar solvents. The HLB value of this substance is 13-15, with excellent surface activity, which can effectively reduce interfacial tension and has cleaning, foaming and emulsification functions.
