What is Tallow amine polyoxyethylene ether(15EO)?

Tallow amine polyoxyethylene ether(15EO) is a polymer compound containing a primary amine and polyoxyethylene ether groups. Its common chemical structure is R-[(CH2)7CHCH2]n-O(CH2CH2O)mH, where R represents a primary amine, and n and m represent the number of repeating units of polyoxyethylene ether. It is a nonionic surfactant and belongs to a fatty alcohol amine ethoxylate. It is soluble in water and has good emulsifying, wetting and detergency properties. Tallow amine polyoxyethylene ether(15EO) has good thickening properties and can increase the viscosity of liquids.

• Tallow amine polyoxyethylene ether(15EO) is used as an emulsifier in detergents to enhance the ability to disperse oil stains and stabilize foam. It is suitable for formulations such as laundry detergents and dishwashing liquids.
• In the textile industry, it is used as a fiber smoothing agent to reduce fiber friction to improve the feel of fabrics and provide antistatic effects.
• As a pesticide adjuvant, it is added to the liquid medicine to improve the adhesion and permeability of the medicine on the plant surface and enhance the efficacy.
• POEA is used as an emulsifier or lubricant in metalworking fluids to reduce friction during cutting and protect the metal surface.
