Application
- Personal care: As a mild surfactant used in shampoo and facial cleanser, it can produce rich and delicate foam, with both cleansing and moisturizing effects. It is suitable for sensitive skin care products and can reduce the irritation of the formula to the skin.
- Detergent: Dodecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride is used as a builder in laundry detergent and hard surface cleaners to enhance the emulsification and dispersion of oil stains. When combined with other surfactants, it improves the decontamination efficiency and has excellent hard water resistance.
- Textile auxiliaries: DTAC is used as a fabric softener and antistatic agent to give the fiber a smooth feel and reduce static interference during the weaving process. At the same time, it promotes uniform adsorption of dyes and improves color uniformity during the dyeing process.
- Leather processing: Dodecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride can be used as a leather softening conditioner to lubricate the fiber structure to improve the softness of the leather, assist the penetration of tanning agents, optimize the tanning process, and can also be used as a degreasing agent to remove grease on the surface of leather materials and improve the quality of finished products.
