What is Benzyl Propionate?

Benzyl Propionate is a colorless oily liquid with a jasmine aroma. Boiling point 222℃. It is soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and ether, but insoluble in water and glycerin. This substance is mainly used as a solvent and additive, and is widely used in chemical industries such as coatings, inks, glues and perfumes. It can also be used to prepare fruit-based edible flavors such as bananas, apples, cherries, and grapes.
