2-Chloro-4,6-dinitroaniline is a yellow or orange crystalline powder with a melting point of 157 - 159°C, a boiling point of 280°C, a flash point of 181.4°C, a refractive index of 1.6000, and is poorly soluble in water. Additionally, it is insoluble in water and slightly soluble in some organic solvents, such as ethanol and acetone.
