1,4-naphthalenedicarboxylic Acid is usually obtained by reacting 1,4-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid chloride with hydrazine hydrate. First, 1,4-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid chloride is dissolved in dichloromethane, and then hydrazine hydrate solution is slowly added to react to produce 1,4-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid and hydrogen chloride gas. Subsequently, the final product is obtained by filtration, crystallization and drying.
