What is Carbendazim?
Carbendazim is a broad-spectrum fungicide with the chemical name niclosamide. Carbendazim is in the form of white crystalline powder and is insoluble in water and general organic solvents. Its solubility (mass ratio) at 20°C is: acetone 0.04%, ethanol 0.03%, chloroform 0.01%, benzene, ether and water are all less than 0.001%. It is soluble in organic acids such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and acetic acid, and forms corresponding salts. It is relatively stable to heat and unstable to acid and alkali. It is a systemic fungicide that can be absorbed by the roots and transported to various parts of the plant, and can effectively inhibit the growth and reproduction of bacteria, fungi and other pathogenic microorganisms.

Application
Carbendazim is widely used in agriculture for crop disease prevention and control. It has the characteristics of high efficiency, low toxicity, broad fungicide spectrum and long lasting effect. It can be used for foliar spraying and soil treatment of vegetables, fruits, crops and flowers to prevent and control a variety of diseases, such as powdery mildew, black spot and mildew. Carbendazim can change the cell membrane and enzyme activity of pathogenic microorganisms, inhibit their growth and reproduction, thereby protecting plants from diseases and improving yield and quality. It is used to prevent and treat a variety of fungal diseases in grains, cotton, oil, fruits, vegetables, and flowers, and can also be used to preserve fruits. It is usually processed into powders, wettable powders, and suspensions for use.
