Tinuvin-1130 (CAS No.: 104810-48-2) is a hydroxyphenylbenzotriazole compound used for the photostabilization of polymer materials, with a molecular formula of C₁₉H₂₁N₃O₃·(C₂H₄O)ₙ (where n = 6–7).
Tinuvin-1130 appears as a light yellow to light amber viscous liquid with a density of 1.15–1.20 g/cm³ and a viscosity of 7000–10000 mPa·s at 25°C. It is insoluble in water but soluble in polar solvents (e.g., acetonitrile, methanol) and most nonpolar organic solvents. The compound has a melting point of −40°C and a boiling point of 500.2°C at 760 mmHg, exhibiting high thermal stability and extract resistance. It should be stored in light-resistant sealed containers .
