Properties:
Poly propylene glycol is a colorless to light yellow viscous liquid with good solubility and stability.
It has good lubricating and rust-preventive properties, reduces the coefficient of friction, and increases the gloss of objects.
Applications:
- PPG series soluble in toluene, ethanol, trichloroethylene, and other organic solvents, PPG200, 400, 600 soluble in water, with lubrication, solubilization, defoaming, antistatic properties. PPG-200 can be used as a dispersant for pigments.
- In cosmetics, PPG400 is used as an emollient, softener, and lubricant.
- Used as an anti-foam agent in paint and hydraulic oil, anti-foam agent in synthetic rubber and latex processing, refrigerant and coolant for heat transfer fluid, and viscosity improvement agent.
- Used as an intermediate for esterification, etherification, and polycondensation reaction.
- Used as a release agent, solvent, synthetic oil additives, water-soluble cutting fluid, roller oil, hydraulic oil additives, high-temperature lubricants, rubber internal lubricants, and external lubricants.
- PPG-2000~8000 has good lubrication, foam resistance, heat resistance, and freezing resistance;
- PPG-3000~8000 is mainly used as a combination of polyether components, the production of polyurethane foam;
